I am so glad I'm not going anywhere right now, but it makes you wonder where else in the world this kind of shit would be tolerated rather than sending the guns in and putting a quick end to it.
Sondhi says they will occupy the airport until PM Somchai quits:
1. Should the entire tourism industry and supporting industries, who the PAD are royally fucking right now (significantly harder than they have been up to this point), just close up shop and open massage parlors/bars/sweatshops instead?
2. If PM Somchai quits, what then? It'll just be the same shit all over again just like when they were lucky enough to get rid of Samak!
If only there were someone with balls in government who could act like a leader. Say what you will about Samak (I think he's a loud-mouth dip-shit), but he had cahones.
I dream of days of national stability but I fear such a thing is out of reach.
